Steve also attended the High Tech PR workshop in New York City presented by the Public Relations Society of America. The event featured many thought leaders in branding, new media, and social networking.

Solomon/Turner, a St. Louis public relations firm, particpated in the 2007 Scramble for Kids Golf Tournament to benefit Children's Miracle Network. The event has helped raise over $1 million for St. Louis area children's hospitals.

Solomon/Turner also participated in the 2007 Arthritis Walk. The event raised over $100,000 for the Arthritis Foundation of Eastern Missouri.
